Investment Portfolios
The cost of maintaining the Brokerage Account with Interactive Brokers is very small. The cost for purchase and sale transactions is usually close to 0.1% per year.
The Portfolio Management service will be charged monthly as a percentage of the market value of the portfolio, at the end of the month:
• 1.25% per year for the portion of the portfolio which is below $50 thousand
• 1.15% per year for the portion of the portfolio between $50 thousand and $100 thousand
• 1.00% annually for the portion of the portfolio between $100,000 and $500,000
• 0.75% per year for the portion of the portfolio above $500 thousand
You can go online to the InteractiveBrokers website with your username and password and see the status of your portfolio, as well as all movements and transactions, as well as reports tailored to your needs
InteractiveBrokers will email you a monthly statement of your Brokerage and Custody account

Simply by contacting Interactive Brokers through the Client Portal, you can cancel the mandate for your investments to be managed by Riccio&Associates LLC, at any time.
From that moment, your investments can be managed by any other adviser of your choice, without any effect or cost or you. You can also manage your own account by yourself.
Your brokerage and custody account with Interactive Brokers remains active and you can continue to use it as you wish.
Once you contact us and indicate your desire to open your brokerage and custody account, we will ask Interactive Brokers to send you an email with the account opening request.
When you receive that request, you only have to fill out the forms that are presented on your computer. We will be available through our communication channels to guide you in this task and clarify any doubts.
Once you have finished filling out the requested information, you must upload in the same application the documents in .pdf format that prove your identity and address.
If there are no delays for any reason, Interactive Brokers will open your account within a week or so and notify us. We will be watching throughout this process to keep you informed.
You need to have a bank account, from where you will make the transfer denominated in US dollars to open your Brokerage and Custody account at Interactive Brokers.
Additionally, you must fill out the application to Interactive Brokers to open the Brokerage and Custody account, for which you will need to provide:
• Copies of identity documents (passport, identity card)
• Proof of address (usually utility bills in your name)
• Accept the terms of the Portfolio Management Agreement
• All required documentation can be sent in .pdf format
First, you must contact giampiero@riccioandassociates.com and indicate how much money you need to make it available in your brokerage and custody account.
Upon receiving this request, Riccio&Associates will immediately proceed to sell all or part of your investment portfolio, as needed.
Immediately after this operation is carried out, you will be notified by Interactive Brokers that it has been carried out and you can yourself, by entering the Interactive Brokers Client Portal, request that the money be transferred to your bank account you have registered as associated with your brokerage account.
All of these steps usually occur in no more than three business days.
Puede ocurrir que necesites o desees retirar tu inversión de los Portafolios que administramos en tu cuenta de corretaje de Interactive Brokers y que, por cualquier motivo, no logres comunicarte con nosotros o no recibas respuesta en el tiempo que consideres necesario.
En estos casos, puedes liquidar tu cartera de inversiones de forma muy sencilla, sin necesidad de esperar nuestra intervención. Una vez vendidos los activos que conforman tu portafolio, podrás solicitar a Interactive Brokers, entrando a tu cuenta por el portal con tus credenciales de acceso, que transfiera los fondos a la cuenta de banco que hayas previamente escogido y que usualmente es la cuenta de dónde enviaste el dinero para ser invertido.
El procedimiento es el siguiente:
1. Accede a tu cuenta de Interactive Brokers, con tus credenciales usuales.
2. En el Menú Principal, selecciona “Negociación”
3. Ve a la pestaña “Cerrar posiciones”
4. En “CANTIDAD”, escoge 100%
5. En “INSTRUMENTOS”, selecciona “Todos”
6. En “TIPO DE ORDEN”, selecciona “Mercado”
7. Haz clic en el botón “Cerrar Posiciones”
Hecho esto, debes esperar uno o dos días hábiles para que el producto de la venta esté disponible en efectivo, en tu cuenta y podrás entonces solicitar la transferencia de efectivo a tu cuenta de banco.
Este proceso no cierra tu cuenta de corretaje en Interactive Brokers, por lo cual podrás si lo deseas, volver a utilizarla para invertir por tu cuenta, o por intermedio de otros asesores de inversión, si nosotros no estuviésemos disponibles por cualquier motivo.
